CASL Congratulates and Thanks all Coaches, Players who participated in the Hamilton Sportsmanship Award Program.

The Hamilton Sportsmanship Award is named after Dr. Pat B. Hamilton who helped establish youth soccer in Raleigh and the state of North Carolina. He played a critical role in developing CASL. This award is given out twice a year, after the fall and spring seasons have ended. Every CASL team that was active during the season has the opportunity to select one player from their team for the Sportsmanship Award.
This award is open to all CASL playing divisions: Recreational, Challenge, YTS, and Classic. The selected player should personify the values Dr. Hamilton lived by including integrity, fairness, respect for others and a love of the game.
Coaches have been asked to select a Sportsmanship Award winner from their team. We encourage teams U12-U19 to have the team members vote on which player should win the Sportsmanship Award. The Hamilton Sportsmanship Award is a prestigious award and we at CASL congratulate all the recipients.
For any award winner that wants to share a special thanks or sportsmanship related story to the Hamilton Family, please email hamiltonsportsmanship@gmail.com
