Rules of Play

CASL is one of the few Clubs in the country that provides multiple divisions of play for soccer enthusiasts.  Participants of all ages in and around Wake County, from under 5 to under 18 can enjoy various divisions of play within our Club structure that fit their skills, competitive levels, and commitment to the game.

CASL's Challenge Playing division is built around the concept of providing a competive and developmental playing lever between Recreation and Classic Programs.  Players are drafted at announced tryouts usually in the spring.  Volunteer Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers are the backbone of the Challenge program.  All CASL teams follow the CASL Rule book and Polices in accordance with NCYSA Rules and Polices and US Soccer Rules and Policies.

Listed below are the rules of play for each Recreational Age Group
